Echoes Through Time

This is an abstract, mixed media work (oil, cold wax medium, collage, mica) was part of a series, "Love Letters from the Front" which honors my father's service in the Army during WWII and the love letters that he wrote to my mom during his two year deployment overseas. Snippets of his letters are embedded in an abstract design painted in earth tones on a cradled wood panel.
